An effective compliance program must be built into the fabric of the organization to ensure ongoing commitment toward the pursuit of ethical business practices which reinforce the organization’s reputation for “doing the right thing.” Annually, the plan will be reviewed and areas of risk will mirror the OIG (Officer of Inspector General) Work Plan, as well as regulatory and provider specific risk areas. A Compliance Plan takes these identified areas of risk and creates a quantifiable process that includes auditing and monitoring of the individual areas agreed upon by the governing body.
